My car is FINALLY nearly ready to be back on the road. I finished the majority of the carpet today and with the exception of some powdercoating, I am nearly done with the interior (don't mention electrical, that is another story).
I have Timmon's Header/Heat set up for performance 3.6 conversions. At present the muffler is an 18 inch flowmaster with some resonators in front of it.
What I'd like to do is run a larger flowmaster since I have the room back there to do so. Many of you have recommended the 'biggest' muffler I can fit being the one I go with, so I think this is it

Here are some pictures, sorry if the quality is a bit poor, I didn't want to open the garage as it is below 30 here today.
here is a shot, notice the room on either side. I measured and I have room for a 28 inch long muffler. the second shot shows the side view of the current exhaust. The current bracket (which was not set up for an early 911) causes the muffler to be at an angle.
This will be different once I get her to the muffler shop. I plan to keep the resonators. With the type of connection these Headers/HE's have, I can move the connection into them up/down or laterally.
