Bill, could you elaborate on what advantages resonators give? Is it an added scavenging effect (and if so, specifically, certain specific RPM or wider band of improved scavenging, etc)?
In all the pictures I've seen of full race exhausts, I can't recall seeing any resonators. Perhaps this was because they lack mufflers and are often set up for peak performance in a narrow band.
