At the very least, it seems like he's got something to start with.
He's very lucky to have you advocating for him. Depression and a sense of helplessness sure wouldn't help him battle his way through the legal & bureaucratic hoops.
Thanks for keeping us updated, it's good to hear that there is hope. Our family has been trying to reach out to a cousin in Vancouver who is an addict, but sadly her situation isn't nearly as positive as your old foster child's.
