You can't some of the time, and think, that's really a two car garage, the wide angle lens makes it look narrower.
In truth, that's the garage I left behind in California; and don't have one here yet. I do have the outline of the new garage on the ground though, just need some more trees removed by my logger neighbor, digging out of the top soil, and replacing that with red clay dirt of which I have plenty.
The plan is 40' x 72', the dimensions recommended based on each wall being a number divisible by 8, US dimensional lumber of course.
The water line is on the same side of the drive way the garage will be built, the power is not so that will have to be dug in. I also want the air compressor to be outside the main room in a smaller weather resistant enclosure for noise abatement reasons, and I may add another room to place wood working equipment in since they generate so much dust. In the planning stages for next fall, spring of '08.
Earlier if the kitchen renovation is completed faster than expected.
