Yeah, I have a Kimber manuf. in '96, a Custom Carry II that is great. THat's why I bought another Kimber for IDPA. But, they are not made as they once were. Now I shoot a Glock 20 for IDPA and it is kick ass. Kicks up a lot of dust when shooting prone though...
Just a side note; I have a Kahr PM40 for concealed carry. It shoots full house 40 S&W with ease and is very accurate for a 3" barrel, short grip gun. It carry so well I can wear it anywhere. It is stout in the recoil department but as some of you know, I'm not recoil sensitive!
