what happens when you try? Does it continue to open them in IE, or does it do nothing, or does it give you some sort of error?
My guess is that it opens them in IE, but you want them to open in Firefox.
In Firefox try "tools -- options -- general (tab)" and then the "default browser" setting in the middle of the box.
There may be a setting in the options for OE that allows you to specify the browser to use as well, but I don't have OE on this box to figure out exactly where in the options. I suspect that setting the "default browser" in XP to Firefox will do the trick. Just make sure that MSIE doesn't check and set itself back to default.
