I grew up in England- the cheese there rocks. Much better than the crap here in the US. It depends what you're going to do with it- on toast I'd have Red Leicester, in a sandwich Cheshire, on a burger Cheddar, on a cracker Wensleydale. Safeway used to sell Cheshire- but they quit that so now I buy the sharpest Cheddar thay have and deal with it.
