Diet and exercise are important, not just to put a dent in the chol number, but to reduce risk even with that high chol. If you become a pure vegan, you can probably get 20% reduction, so obviously, just looking at your LDL that's not enough. OTOH, your HDL is quite high and at least partially protective.
