Seems to me there's two possible actions against MM that are unrelated:
1) Get some remedy for those who have paid MM in the past for unsatisfactory repairs. Since most owners wouldn't want MM to touch their cars or engines again, I'm assuming this would have to be cash back. Since MM isn't likely to voluntarily refund money, this would have to be some type of legal action.
2) Do something so that other unsuspecting Pcar owners don't find themselves in category #1.
I was considering hiring MM until I ready the horror stories on this board, so I know how close I came to being one of the hoodwinked.
I don't have any ideas for folks in situation #1, but #2 seems like it might be easier to tackle. Using the collective might of the folks on this BBS seems like we could continue to put pressure on P-car magazines not to run MM ads (do Pano and Excellence still carry their ad?).
Just trying to be constructive...
