Hi all.... I just picked up a new toy and thought I would let everyone see it.
It's an '83 930, previously owned by two different Doctors. The first Dr. bought the car new over in Germany, drove it there for a year, shipped it back to So. Cal. and then proceeded to use it as fair-weather weekend car. He kept it for about 15 yrs and then sold it to another surgeon that worked in the same hospital.
The last Dr used it as the first one did....as a sunny day grocery getter.......the P-car shop my wife works at (for 22 yrs now...) has been servicing it for at least 15 years and has a thick file on it.
It's got 52.8k on the odometer and some minor oil drips...which I'll be getting taken care of....it's presently still at my wifes shop getting all sorts of small details taken care of from the list she has put together (she's a Porsche chick thru & thru...
)
