But why is the Honda so far away from the booth? I mean, looking at the impact damage to the Nissans right corner, it is obvious that the Honda was not right up close to the booth as if to pay the toll.

Further, if the Honda were stopped there when the Nissan impacted, the inertia would not have allowed them to come to rest like that.

I personally believe it was two people trying to get there first... the a-hole yankees not yeilding thoery. Maybe it's a "fast-pass/ez-pay" type portal that you just drive through and do not actually stop to pay.
