A couple of guys have already chimed in, but I will repeat what they said. Sue the at-fault party. Let them deal with their insurance. At the end of the day, it is their responsibility. If they want to go to their insurance to cover it, fine. That is their option. Let them deal with it.

I have been hit twice in the last three years by folks who have elected to save a tone of money with Geico. Neither was a pleasant experience. From now on, I will simply go after the at-fault party. I should not have to deal with their shady adjuster just because they want to save on insurance. They are effectively pushing the burden of doing this off on whoever they hit. I, for one, have decided "never again".
