I enjoyed the show, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
All 4 hunters nailed a buck, free handed. Good lord did they bring some cannons though. A 7mm, 2 300 mags, .338 (maybe it was a .308), blowing 180 grain or there abouts. With the possible exception of Larry's deer, they all dropped like a load of bricks!
I was a bit dissatisfied with the quality of deer, I hoped to see results at least in the 150-160 class. It was a helluva alot better than watching the canned hunts that produce larger deer though. On top of that, it has to be damned hard to kill anything when you have a camera man in tow. Given that the hunt was not in ideal weather conditions, and nowhere near the rut, I thought they did very good to bag what they did.
The YTurria ranch damned sure has alot bucks, and must have an azzload of deer. They chopper surveyed what, 130 mature bucks over 5500 acres? My guess is that ranch is MLD3, or it should be if it isn't.
