1984 3.2 Carrera coupe $15k
great car. Approx 145,000 miles. I had the engine dropped by John Walker -- he gave it steel studs, rebuilt the valve train, new valves, rebuilt 1st/2nd gear interface "while he was in there" -(about $6k in work, if you're counting). This thing runs like a top and is extremely quick -- I've put 5000 miles on it since the rebuild and its solid as a tank. 930 tie rods, weltmeister strut brace. The only thing that doesn't work is the AC, and its all intact and present -- needs a charge and little TLC to be perfect. Car is 'guards red' and I believe it had a re-spray on the hood at one time. Tiny chip (not a 'crack') in the windshield. Looks great. Daily driver. Fantastic brakes, good tires (Kumho's). Completely stock. Seats are a bit worn, but I have neoprene covers on them and they work just fine. 10 disc changer under the passenger seat. Sunroof works great and seals tight. I put in a relay to handle the high-wattage Hella high beams. clean body - absolutely nothing even resembling rust. I'm the 4th owner -- car had an 'odometer issue' in the past (on the carfax -- I sorted this out with the guy I bought it from). If you're after a tight, bulletproof 'zuffy-sled', this is a great one.
2 little kids and bills to pay....I've had my fun and satisfied a life-long urge-- now its time to move on.
thanks,
Greg
