Now that I'm thinking about this some more:
- I did do the first pic method to get those front mounting points (1 and 2 in the pic below) taken care of. Then I undid those bolts and then made the mounting point below (labeled 3 in the pic).
- When you screw in mounting point 3 it makes mount point 1 stick out past the fender. Simply flex the bumper back in and screw in mounting point 1 and 2.
- So I think the steps I did are shown as 1 and 2, then 3, then back to 4 and 5 in the pic:
