I love that movie, (Bullit), Notice in the very beginning of the chase when McQueen in the Mustang gets cut off by gridlocked traffic that will not allow him to turn left as the Charger gets a jump on him. Does he swear at the cabbie? Does he exhibit even a hint of "road rage"? Does he even look like his heart is beating fast? Hell, no! He's Steve McQueen, the absolute master of existential cool. Like a great handball player, he stands still and makes others move around him. Such a sublime actor, hardly anyone can pull off that minimalism w/o just being wooden and boring.
