Very cool story. Another good company is Jansport - I've had two backpacks either repaired or replaced under their lifetime warranty over the years - no questions asked. My current pack (use daily) is pretty dead - zipper destroyed on one of the pouches, torn, etc, but I'm considering just paying full-price for another one out of gratitude for their not being a-holes about standing behind their products in the past rather than putting in for another warranty replacement, even though I'm sure they'd send me another one without question.
