Todd,
Once you are addicted to anything, you are an addict for life. You fight it every day and every day brings new chances to "fall off of the wagon" so to speak. The substance, whatever it was, keeps calling your name, especially when you are tired, weak or in need of a release.
Been there and got the tee shirt just as you do. Never OD'ed but realized that it was in control and I was not and stopped. Its not easy...
