Thankfully, my mother in law hasn't been allowed in the house for a good (great) year and a half. That generally keeps the anxiety levels down for everyone. She still makes surprise visits now and then, and I get to be the one who blocks her at the door or ushers her away. But that's another thread altogether.

LOL Byron, one of those cases where spell check doesn't help one bit, eh? Frig that made me laugh, glad you caught the mistake. Oh ya, funny story too... and that happened to my uncle after my dad's 60th bday party last year. Was so drunk he couldn't see past the tip of his nose, and woke up in the middle of the night and pissed on the curtains at his hotel. He admitted his mistake, very sheepishly, to my father in the morning.

I used to get the "intruder" feeling when I was younger, but now that I know what's going on I don't get as freaked out. If you can think of it while you're laying there, try counting. It was explained to me that it helps "bridge" between sleep & full consciousness. I find I can "snap" out of it by the time I count to 40 or 50.
