Pat,
I favor "freedom-based" solutions. I have had the NYT telemarketers call me to offer the NYT delivered to my house. I routinely tell them that I would not have that rag anywhere near my home. I don't read socialist propaganda.
Many others are choosing not to read their paper and they are losing readership. If no one buys their rag, there is no need for government interference.

You keep talking about freedom. And how the libs are against freedom. I wonder when you are going to wake up and have a look around, to see where your freedoms are today compared to six years ago when your beloved Republicans took power. When did you figure out that all your phone calls are probably being evaluated? Or have you figured that out yet?
Lots of folks seem to be confused by the difference between personal freedoms and corporate freedoms. You too I guess, Lothar. Government in America has never been anywhere near as intrusive as it is right now. And you call that "freedom." I guess marketing works like a charm.
