I think Shaun's list of priorities is good but I would add oil cooling somewhere after safety and I see a replacement front bumper as part of the oil cooling "package". There are alternatives to replacing the entire front bumper that will still allow a front oil cooler, but as long as you are doing it, might as well do it once.
A quick comment on paint - sound like you may already know this but don't spend a lot of money on the paint job if it's going to be a track car
