A dealership NEVER has a trade in that it "must sell."
They don't even retail sell most of the trade ins they take. The majority of trade-ins they take are sold to wholesalers who take anything.
So if they wanted that car gone today, it's just a phone call in the morning and it's gone by the afternoon.
But whatever the ad says, doesn't really matter. This is likely a car with no mechanical record, and no real history on it. So like most cars, it's all about condition and the PPI. In addition to a mechanical PPI, I'd have a thorough body check done, too. I wouldn't be surprised if the car has had accident damage. Which may be ok, you just need to be fully aware of the condition.
Price seems good. PPI.
