Cool! I had a '96 Discovery SD, in silver with gray cloth interior. I really should have kept it, but the lure of its big brother the Range Rover proved too much! Mine was a stick- which I prefer- it was a great rig, felt really solid on the road, looked great- but it drove me nuts with the little stuff- steering column plastic bits that came apart when you turned the ignition key (when it would turn) and squeaks/rattles all over. I think D1's are a great deal though- I frequently see sub-100k models selling for under $8k that are in great shape. Enjoy!
