I understand them not being as accurate, I owned a Rolex GMT for fifteen years, it never had the correct time but when I sold it, I got MORE than I paid for it. It was always close, just a min. or two slow, but I forgave it when I sold it. I have had automatic watches since 1968 and still like them. A Seiko, a Bulova, a Rolex, another Seiko and now a TagHeur Tiger Woods and I like them all. They are all dead end expenses except Rolex, you will get your money back.
I don't see how you can like machines like a Porsche and not like a good watch.
