Silver is an excellent color on 911's. I remember there was a movie from the late 70's or early 80's where they were smuggling someone out of East Berlin. They used a rollback truck as ramp and jumped the wall in a gorgeous silver 911 Turbo. I was affected by that, I think. You know, joined the Army, moved to Germany, bought a 911, then bought another 911, then another, you know.... Never got a chance to jump the wall though.
