The wife and I actually enjoyed Orlando very much. Not much of a vacation though, we did 6 parks in 5 days. Day 1 - Epcot and Animal Kingdom, Day 2 - Disney MGM, Day 3 - Universal Studios, Day 4 - Disneyworld, Day 5 - Universal Islands of Adventure. Damn were my feet tired.
Best park, MGM hands down. Worst park, Universal Studios...very lame.
Of course at the time we were sans children so we just kept in front of the advancing horde and things went pretty well. It's amazing how much better the park experience is if you can plan to do the opposite of what the throng wants to do. For example, we decided we really didn't need to see the parade during the afternoon at Disneyworld so we just stayed the hell away from that area. Rides were almost empty in other places. We did stay for the night time parade and fireworks, but by that time some of the munchkins had left for bedtime.
I'll go back to Orlando with the kids, maybe in a couple years.
