Does anyone have any experience (and recommendations) concerning the plethora of manufacturing simulation software that is currently available. Software where little or preferably no programming is much desired. Ease of use and a relatively quick learning curve is attractive. 3D capabilities is a must. The ability to import CAD drawings is certainly an attribute. I would like to set up a basic manufacturing facility with this program for evaluation purposes. I found one that apparently has all the features I am looking for entitled Flexsim but the cost is between $12,500 - $19,500. Maybe this one is the best suited; however, which my limited experience (read this as none) with these programs I am soliciting help from those who may have working knowledge of these programs. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
