Anarobic sealant is that thin red sealant that is used beteween machined surfaces, that have tight tolerances. Example, the "cam caps" on the end of the head need to be sealed so they don't leak. Silicone is thick and will effect the torque values. The anarobic sealant is very thin and will squish out, thus not effecting the torque of the cap. It forms a membrain type of seal, good stuff. At $20 for a 4oz. tube it had better be good stuff.
I think the cat fight should be ok, Lanna is going to stay with a friends truck. 1948 5 window, completly restored, very nice.
