+1 I just bought a refurbed machine last summer to replace my aging iBook. It looks new, feels new, you get a warranty (upgradable to 3 years from the date you bought it for the same price as you'd pay on a new one), and it was $300 less than it was when new and $300 less than a comparable new MacBook (replacement for iBook).
