Parting out a car is a lot of work...but yes, you car probably has parts that could sell for more than it's whole, assuming it's as rusty as I imagine it to be, winter driven on salt treated roads, etc.
Also, the price on parts is a semi-science...it really depends on how badly the buyer wants the part, and the condition of the part. I would also suggest you save all good nuts & bolts, labeled well. Concours nuts are concerned about head stampings. Door pockets? Sure there are mint sets out there...here's a pic of mine. The difference? My car wasn't subjected to winter salt, the punisment of a daily commute.
