What you're referring to as an R8 Hillclimb video has
been discussed before. It actually has nothing to do with Audi, the car is a Norma M20 with a BMW-6 cylinder engine. A sure giveaway that it's not an R8 is the engine sound. The R8 engines rarely rev'ed above 6500 RPM -- believe it or not! This is because the engine package was designed in light of the Le Mans engine rules with the intake restricters. The Audi engine was designed to generate a lot of torque and HP before the restrictors started to limit the air flow, and do it for 24 hours at a time. This is one of the reasons why Audi made the leap to a diesel engine, because their existing direct injection gas engine acted an awful lot like a diesel to begin with in regards to it's power delivery.
