I sincerelly doubt there are any E-1s under 4 mths serving in Iraq....and your total left out the tax-free allowances for food, housing, and clothing....which pushes the rate well above $20K.

1203.90 is the under 4 month rate for E-1
E-1 rate is 1301.40 is over 4 months and it stays there forever
only E-3 and above get bumps after 2 years in grade and there after E- 1 and 2 never do
still want to know what rate Halliburton bills the goverment for the guy they pay 100,000 a year
