He'll play some OK sets of music, but the guy is just insufferable to listen to, IMO. Todd pretty much nailed it, (in a nicer way than I would), he is a fatuous, pretentious lead head. Just not terribly bright or clever. Even his sets always have some lame "theme" that is way too literal, it is like a pun. (Which is the lowest form of wit).
Now Steve Jones, there's a DJ! Naturally clever beyond words in a hilarious dumb schit way, and smokin' taste in music. Plus he plays (and does)
whatever the hell he wants. He is one in a million, but unfortunately and unlike Jim Ladd he is too bright and restless to stay inspired by being a radio DJ. Consequently, the burn-out has already set in.
