Mark, make sure you pull the swatch from underneath where it hasn't been faded by the sun. There's usually a big difference in the color.
On my BMW, I decided to just dye all the seats, not just the one that needed it. The color was very close on the second batch but the fresh pigment is so much brighter I went this route to get everything to match.
My opinion is that sending in an actual swatch (approximately 1 sq inch) is the only way to go.
