I actually thought the excuse was quite lame. He should have just said, "I was revving it because it's expensive and I'm a prick."

At least that would probably have been more accurate.

Still, I find it disturbing that revving your car at somebody can be interpreted as having some sort of deeper meaning. I'm not sure who I hate more; the people who make up the silly rules, the people who insist that the silly rules are necessary, or the people who buy into this silly bull****.
