Me too... I have never been impressed or in awe of celebrity (possibly one of the few attributes of growing up in Lost Angeles) granted some people are born with extraordinary talent and/or good looks. So you won the genetic lottery... whoo pee ******* doo!
Don't get me wrong I think Sting
is a musical genius (and that coming from a bass player). I was a fan of the Police and he has done some (very) good solo stuff (and some bland stuff also).
The Police music is kind of dated IMHO and I wouldn't pay to see it although I'm sure they will sell out ever venue.
Kind of like the Cream reunion, three extraordinary player and very cool to see them one last time... but when I watch my DVD there is a bit of a melancholy pathetic tinge to the whole thing. Sort of like watching middle age dudes trying to relive their youth.
But WTF who am I fooling... it's all about the Benjamen's and I'm sure everyone will make a buck off the tour.
