Don...........good question. I've scraped the surface on the cover. When I bought the car, it had this shinny sticky Armoral stuff on the horn pad. Like a fool, I used a Scotchbrite pad to remove the gunk. Now its pretty scratched. I was hoping that the black cover would pop off, then I could just put a new one on. Somehow, I knew it wasn't going to be that easy.

If I do remove it with the 2 bolts, does that unleash a whole can of worms?
