Why? If you can afford it, buy. Even if you leave later you'll make more money here than you would in the ssme period at "home". Now affording it is a whole other thing. My 25 year old son is looing for his first real estate purchase, probably a 1000 sq. ft. condo and it'll cost him over $400,000 in north orange county. That's just insane for easterners to relate to, but it is the market here. And it'll be worth a lot more than that in a couple of years....probably
