Almost two years ago, I won a small claims case against the reprobate schyster who sold me my sailboat. (great boat, badly rigged). He appealed, then I beat him again at the Court of Queen's bench.

He paid in full, but I was still pretty pi$$ed. He had been clearly in the wrong and just refused to man up and make good on his end of the deal. Even during the proceedings, he would cuss and swear during breaks. It was fun at that stage because he was obviously going to lose.
Anyway, after his money cleared I posted about it on my website. Then I did a few basic things to get it to pop up in google.
Then, a few months ago I got some reciprocal links that really bumped it. Now, when you google search his name, my site is the first page you get. His classified ads are on the second & third page of results.
Yesterday I got this email:

Hi, While looking for a specific type of boat on the net I came across one...which [name deleted] was selling. Little alarm bells began to ring, so I Googled his name and got your site. What is your opinion of the fellow. Before I comit. Thanks cgb

I would certainly never, ever consider buying anything from him again. Nor would I recommend him to anyone else. At the very least, I would recommend having the boat checked out by a profession surveyor. Unfortunately, I did so AFTER the disaster. The marine surveyor [name deleted] said the boat was rigged so dangerous I'm lucky no one was killed. His words.
[name deleted] left my boat tied to the wharf, with the sails and mast hanging in the water. When I arrived he got in his car and left. His last words to me were "sue me". I did, and I won.
If you want to talk more about it, please feel free to call me. You can tell [name deleted] how you found me too!
