We use Sachs clutches. Yet to have a problem directly caused by them. There are always rumors about the difference between Porsche (or any other vehicle manufacturer) supplied and aftermarket supplied.

Personally, I don't think there is any difference. With the emphasis on profitablity nowadays, why would any major (and Sachs is one) manufacturer bother to make two versions of a relatively slow selling product. Bearing in mind the Porsche supplied ones have the same Sachs part number printed on the actual part as the aftermarket one.
But is does come in a different box........
