1. What is the correction location for the dead pedal? Obviously it will be where I can put my foot on it comfortably. But I'm looking for accurate dimensions from a common reference point so that I can put it in the factory location.

2. I'm pretty sure that the OE attachment method was only welding which I probably won't bother with. So I'm probably going to either use blind rivets or bolts with nuts. Does anybody have any recommendations based on installing their own dead pedals?
