We actually just moved to WV this year from SC and NC for the past 10. Boats are definitly cheaper up here, but I think part of it is the high turnover rate and movement of people in and out of DC and Balti. Both within an hour from us here in the panhandle of WV. People get boats don't use, don't want to move them and sell them for cheap. I've seen lots of wooden boats up here for sale cheap. Check craigslist for DC and Balti usually some good ones there. The San Juan was on there.
