Well, if it had been fairly well waxed before this happened, I'd say you might be able to get away with clay barring it off. If not and it is tightly adhering I'd start off with the mild white rubbing compound and if that doesn't work, go to the old fashioned hardcore red colored rubbing compound. If none of that works then you're looking at color sanding and polishing. Good luck!
