Mother nearly came unglued the other day when I was telling her how bad I felt over my dog, Georges death. She said, "Why don't you show some more stoicism, after all U don't realize how lucky U are not to be working in some coal mine in Siberia." I replied, "Mother first of all I don't work in a Coal Mine and certainily not in Siberia, I feel badly about losing my dog, I loved him." She then said, "But do U have to tell everybody about it, can't you keep your mouth shut." I said, "No it helps ease the pain if I tell about it. The pain I feel is an expression of how much I loved him." Mother just couldn't handle that and stomped outa the room...but that is a whole different issue that I have to deal with a later date.
