I heard Seve (Ballesteros) when he was a kid used to walk the mile and a half to where he played golf bouncing the ball off a club the whole way.
No doubt Tiger's the best now, but best ever that is impossible to say. Bobby Jones quit the game when he was 28 I believe . Jack wasn't chasing anyones records. Tom Morris hit what was a rock with a stick on the same courses they play today , though they were not so well tended - and he would shoot in the 60's !
Tiger is a putz. Great golfer but a Putz.
