I would think '89 and previous. That was the last year for the 107 chassis / body style.
When the gas prices peaked recently the demand for the less thirsty 380 SLs went up. That said the 560 is generally the most desirable (for US models) as a few improvements were made to the climate control, suspension, larger engine and seating (side bolsters added).
In the spring I see Condition 1 560s going for between $11 and $16k. This range has held for quite a while. BTW, if there were ever a car that needs a PPI the 107, in every guise, is it.
IMO, the MercedesShop forum is great for tech stuff but likely not the best for selling. I'd stick with autotrader, Ebay or similar.
