Thanks for the info. I'll probably take a trip down there on Friday. It isn't that far really as I live in Harpenden, nr Luton. It all depends on the traffic as you well know
I am at Uni at the mo and need to have a good look at the car with my dad to see if there is anything major that needs doing - I'll bear your offer of parts in mind.
German and Swedish did seem to be pretty good for parts, a number of the parts cheaper than for my VW! Anything else you think I should replace straight away (bearing in mind the car has barely been touched in 8 years), apart from the filters, oil, spark plugs?
