In 1971 I went from Tilbury (UK) across the North Sea to Sweden in a Swedish Lloyd ferry similar to the one in the vid.
It was also getting thrown around like that for at least 8 hours of the trip.
We had New years eve on board, it was me, my buddy & a couple of crew at the bar. Everyone else was throwing up.
Man it was bad. The front would go down, then the screws come out of the water & the whole ship shudders and vibrates, then it rolls, then the front comes up, then down like a roller coaster, & CRASH it hits the water.
This cycle goes on & on hour after hour.....You had to put bunk boards on the side of the bed to stop being thrown out. I had a top bunk & had to time getting out just right or get hurled against the ceiling, floor or wall depending on what the part of the cycle the ship was in.

But the fun we had when we got to Sweden was well worth it......
