Was no other guy unless you humanize a concrete divider wall.
Never touched the brakes, wasn't ice or snow, but a 6" coating of slush covering the exit lane off the cloverleaf. Went from one side of a 5 lane to the other and tagged the wall at about 20 MPH. No spin, rear just kicked out going about 30 and sent us almost perpindicular across the highway.
Had I hit the brakes, we'd have been doing pirouettes and likely have gotten t-boned. ABS or AWD was useless, we were along for the ride.
While I'm sitting there waiting on the wrecker, I counted 13 other people lose control at the same spot. 3 off into the trees. Still pisses me off. What butt ******* state plows the highway but not the off ramps? Rest of the GD highway was wet, on/off ramp and interchange never touched. 7 hours after the snow stopped.
