Sure fire gonna get laid menu
Main course...simple but a bit out of the ordinary
Grilled Lamb Chops with Kahlua/white Wine/Creole Mustard sauce
Prepare sauce first:
Sauce:
1 cup of dry white wine and one cup of demi glace (can substitute 1 cup of beef boullion)...in a sauce pan reduce by 1/2
Add one cup of Kahlua...reduce by 1/2
Then add 2 tablespoons of Zattaran's creole mustard....stir until well blended...simmer until chops are ready
Chops:
Season 6-8 Lamb Chops with salt and pepper, grill until medium rare (You can sear them in oven safe skillet and place under the broiler if you don't want to fire up the grill)
Cover with the sauce when serving
Sides: Grilled fresh asparagus spears...toss in olive oil and season salt and throw on grill...drizzle lemon juice over them when on plate
Rosemary roasted new potatoes: Cube new potatos, toss in olive oil, season salt and dried ground rosemary (lots). Place in casserole and bake at 375 for 40-45 mins, turning once. Finish about 3-5 minutes on broil.
Dessert:
Kahlua Pecan Bananas Foster
Melt 1 stick of butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar in skillet, add 1/2 cup chopped pecans and 1/2 cup Kahlua. 1 tsp cinamon. Cook for 5 minutes careful not to burn. Add bananas, cut in 1/2 and sliced length wise. Add 1/2 cup 151 rum, being to "boil" and ignite. Let alcohol burn down. Remove from heat and ladle over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
